Tenax SmartWind + is equipped with an innovative electric steering system controlled by an ergonomic electronic control mouse, which allows for precise steering in all situations. Operator safety is increased by the presence of sensors which automatically adjust the steering depending on the speed. At the same time, the damped rear wheels make the steering light and agile.

SmartWind+ can be equipped with different types of 24 Volt low voltage battery packs designed specifically for the device. The possibility to use different types of batteries (LiFePO4 or AGM) allows the machine to be adapted to the specific working requirements and budget of each customer. Depending on the battery type chosen, runtime ranges from eight to ten hours, and is therefore able to cover an entire work shift. The tried and tested technology used minimizes the environmental footprint and offers high levels of recyclability, as well as high levels of safety thanks to the low voltage.

The SmartWind+ can be equipped with on-board or external single-phase battery chargers with different voltages, power ratings and charging times to fully meet customer requirements.

The SmartWind+ electric ride on sweeper is equipped with a mechanical suction waste collection system. A mobile, self-regulating cylindrical central brush carries away the waste collected by the counter-rotating brushes, located in front of the front axle. Thanks to the panel filter available in different versions, including polyester and HEPA, a filtration level of 99% is guaranteed, with all fine dust up to PM 2.5 retained. It is also equipped with a 120 mm (4.72 in) diameter 3 m (9.84 ft) long leaf suction hose to reach the most difficult locations. During the work phase, the self-balancing nature of each component adapts to any surface to ensure perfect operation at all times.

The watertight rear waste hopper of 98 Gallon capacity is made of Fe360 steel. It can be used with or without standard disposable plastic refuse sacks. Rear raised offloading at a height of 1,500 mm (59.06 in) allows for fast, easy unloading without any physical exertion by the operator. The 13.21 gal clean water tank guarantees maximum runtime and use of the dust abatement system.

SmartWind+ features a central driving position which is adjustable and ergonomic for a unique driving experience. The protective roll-bars ensure complete safety while driving, while the ergonomic control stick on the right-hand armrest provides increased driving comfort. The control LCD display is ergonomic and intuitive, featuring a user-friendly interface; it is installed in a central position and offers great ease of use which makes it possible to concentrate on the work to be performed without any distractions. A soundproofed cab with panoramic LAMINATED anti-glare windscreen can also be installed, with fully glazed doors to provide optimal visibility. It is also possible to obtain an even wider view of the surrounding area thanks to supplementary video cameras.

Fleet monitoring and digitisation can facilitate the work of both owners and operators. Tenax offers targeted services and support, with constant monitoring to minimise downtime and operating costs.
